What Problems Should Be Paid Attention To in Mango Planting? Temperature, Water And Fruit Thinning

Sep 28, 2021

It's time to eat mango season again. The crystal clear color and full flesh. It makes people salivate when they see it. The market value of mango is more, and orchards are planted more and more. Today, HuaZhen Agriculture would like to talk about what problems we need to pay attention to in the cultivation of mango.

  1. Mango fruit thinning is the key to increase yield.

Mango fruit thinning is usually 15 ~ 30 days after flowers wither, young fruit such as grain size of peanut fruit thinning, fruit only keep 2 ~ 4 grains per panicle, retain position is better to the central, choose larger, colour and lustre is pale green, the growth vigor of young fruit, the fruit within the canopy and evenly distributed between the branches, with fruit and fruit are not close to between the advisable.

2.Temperature management is the prerequisite of mango taste.

Because mangoes like high temperature and dry areas, but do not tolerate cold and low temperature, temperature is the main factor to determine the natural growth of mangoes. The effective temperature of mango fruit growth is about 18°~35 ° C, and the most suitable temperature for the growth of branches and leaves is about 24°~29 ° C. Generally speaking, the annual average temperature is above 21℃, and the coldest monthly average temperature is not less than 15℃. The place without frost all year round is more suitable for mango cultivation.

3.Adequate moisture is the guarantee of mango quality.

In addition, there are also requirements for water, during the whole growth period, the requirement for water is relatively large, in addition to these also need enough light, like the sun, only enough places can be conducive to growth. And the sun is shining, the results are very good and the quality is very good.

Although it requires a lot of water, it doesn't need that much water for the whole growth process! For example, drought and little rain are required during flowering. When flowering and bearing fruit, too much water will cause falling flowers and fruit, if the ground is not even, there will be a problem of cracking fruit.

Therefore, farmers pay more attention to their fruit thinning technology, which can effectively affect the quality and taste of mango!
